WATERTOWN, Mass. (August 28, 2018) — Liaison International, the leading provider of higher education admissions management and enrollment marketing solutions, announced today that it is partnering with the University of Rhode Island to simplify its graduate admission processes. URI, the state’s flagship research University, will provide a better experience to applicants and admissions staff through three of Liaison’s Centralized Application Services (CASs™).

Starting in the 2018-2019 application cycle, prospective graduate management students will apply to URI’s business programs through BusinessCAS™, and prospective graduate engineering students will apply to the University’s engineering programs through EngineeringCAS™. All of URI’s graduate programs that are not affiliated with a national CAS will join GradCAS™, which Liaison launched to extend the benefits of a CAS to those programs not supported by a professional association-based service.

By offering access to these services, URI will provide applicants with a mobile-friendly application and a convenient single portal to discover all available graduate education opportunities. Program specific landing pages within each CAS will provide a description of each degree program, along with instructions to ensure applications are both complete and competitive.

Applicants will only be required to create one account, enter their biographical and academic information once and send one copy of official transcripts/test scores directly to Liaison, no matter how many applications they choose to submit to URI or other CAS member institutions. Applicants will receive regular updates on the status of their applications, including whether letters of recommendation have been submitted on their behalf.

“We pride ourselves on offering small classes, personalized programs and individual attention as the rule, not the exception, in our graduate programs,” said Nasser Zawia, dean of the URI Graduate School. “We offer the breadth of academic opportunity you expect of a global research university along with the personal attention a smaller institution provides. When you choose the University of Rhode Island to pursue your graduate studies, you join an outstanding and diverse student body, a research-driven community working to address the needs and requirements of an ever-changing and expanding global marketplace,” added Zawia.

Liaison’s Founder and CEO George Haddad added: “URI is a major research university defined by its dedication to big thinking. EngineeringCAS, BusinessCAS and GradCAS will help the institution build a steady pipeline of high quality applicants so that it can continue to attract the global thinkers that set it apart. We are excited to draw on our over two decades in admissions to help URI meet its mission.”
